10Pearls Global AI Hackathon 2024: Pushing the Boundaries of Innovation
With the global AI market projected to hit $1,339 billion by 2030, it is crucial to stay at the forefront of these advancements. 10Pearls hosted our first AI Hackathon 2024, a global AI competition that brought together our community across the US, UK, LATAM and Pakistan to explore the vast potential and real-world applications of artificial intelligence.
A day of creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge solutions
The 10Pearls AI Hackathon brought together participants from diverse backgrounds and expertise levels across our global offices. The event brought teammates from both technical and non-technical backgrounds, giving everyone the opportunity to explore AI in depth.
Teammates were divided into various groups, across various departments and locations, to overcome unique business challenges, enabling them to collaborate and learn from one another as they explored AI’s potential to address real world scenarios. They uncovered ways to boost productivity, automate tasks, and make more informed decisions through data-driven insights.

A closer look at 10Pearls AI Hackathon 2024
The 10Pearls AI Hackathon 2024 was strategically designed by our leadership to integrate AI into our daily organizational processes while encouraging our team members to keep pace with technological advancements. To ensure real-world relevance, we collected use cases from various functional areas, focusing on common challenges that AI could address. The core problem statements were established and shared with teams for their innovation and creative application of AI.
Participants leveraged an array of cutting-edge AI tools, including NLP libraries, machine learning and LLM frameworks, and AI APIs from Google, OpenAI, and Amazon, as well as code generators and tools for graphic design, content creation, audio transcription, and UI/UX development for the hackathon. They gained valuable experience with platforms like GitHub Copilot, DALL-E 3, Midjourney, Bubble, GPT-4, Kaggle, TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain, and more, providing an extensive toolkit to create and refine their AI-driven ideas.
The Hackathon concluded with insightful presentations where teams showcased their proposals to a panel of judges. Projects were assessed based on innovation, feasibility, impact and the delivery of their presentation.

Our teams demonstrated impressive creativity and technical acumen, developing AI-powered systems to manage SEO challenges, optimize IT support, streamline HR processes, track performance, and improve employee engagement. Others outperformed by creating comprehensive device tracking systems and AI-driven ride-hailing services.
