10Pearls University Hosts Global Azure Bootcamp

On April 21, 10Pearls, in its capacity as a Microsoft Gold partner, was thrilled to host the sixth installment of the Global Azure Bootcamp.

Global Azure Bootcamp is a free, one-day training event hosted simultaneously in numerous locations around the world by Microsoft Azure community enthusiasts, Microsoft Partners, and experts. It consists of numerous, day-long sessions and hands on lab experiences. The aim is to educate thousands of people about Azure and join together online under the social hashtag #GlobalAzure!

The Bootcamp, held at 10Pearls University, attracted a huge crowd of professionals working on Azure, as well as students eager to learn more about Azure Services. The agenda was packed with six back-to-back sessions led by senior architects and Azure certified specialists from 10Pearls, as well as Daniyal Saleem, a 3 Times Microsoft Azure MVP, who conducted a session on Azure Serverless Architecture Using Azure Function & Azure Logic.

The highlight of the event was a session from 10Pearls Lab experts regarding intelligent applications on Azure Cognitive Services using HoloLens. Participants had the opportunity to engage with live demonstrations and interact with SMEs on how to build products using next-gen tools. The agenda also boasted of well-attended talks focused on lean deployment, DevOps cycle using VSTS, monitoring and securing web applications through Azure, and building and testing mobile apps using Azure.

The Bootcamp was a massive success with participants involved and engrossed in the informative sessions – check out our gallery of photos below. 10Pearls University will continue its tradition of hosting events that foster learning and innovation within the community.
