We’re excited to announce that 10Pearls is expanding the breadth of its nearshore presence through the strategic acquisition of Pixel506, a Brooklyn-born, Costa Rica-based digital agency.

Founded by a talented, entrepreneurial husband-and-wife team, Pixel506 is a digital innovation agency focused on strategy, customer experience, user interface design, and software development. Pixel506 has deep delivery capability in Costa Rica and a broad footprint of contributors across LATAM.

This strategic transaction follows 10Pearls’ recent acquisitions of nearshore-based Proximity and Xtensifi, expanding 10Pearls’ nearshore capabilities and vertical industry depth with an additional 60 highly-qualified digital contributors.

More importantly, Pixel506, together with Likeable, the digital social agency acquired by 10Pearls in early 2021, presents a complete suite of digital capabilities. Collectively, the companies and their respective capabilities provide a key strategic advantage to businesses looking to leverage digital marketing to expand and grow.

“The addition of the Pixel506 team is a strategic step and synergistic at multiple levels in providing our customers expanded digital delivery out of our nearshore LATAM offices. The founders of Pixel506 share similar core human-centric values making this a strongly-aligned cultural fit. We are excited to onboard entrepreneurial leaders to further scale our growth.”

Imran Aftab, CEO at 10Pearls

Pixel506 founder Antonio Ramirez agrees, “Embracing digital transformation is no longer a choice for businesses, but rather a critical component of both survival and growth. With roots in both the US and Latin America, Pixel506 is uniquely positioned to maximize quality and value for clients, and we are excited to now be part of 10Pearls’ global platform and contribute to its growth going forward.
