Challenge

The client was managing vast amounts of time-series data across multiple regional systems, each with its own data structure and refresh cycle. Legacy pipelines struggled to handle data volume, lacked consistency, and required significant manual oversight to align datasets. Additionally, integrating with external ISO operators to ingest and process market data added further complexity. These inefficiencies made it difficult for the business to conduct timely portfolio-level analytics or ensure data reliability across its growing operations.

Solution

10Pearls designed a unified data and analytics platform on AWS that consolidated time-series data, continuous CDC sync, and ISO market feeds into a single, cloud-native environment. AWS DMS migrated both historical and incremental data into an Amazon S3 data lake, while AWS Glue transformed and cataloged it for downstream systems. Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL supported operational data processing, and Amazon Redshift powered portfolio-level analytics. Integration with ISO operators was automated via Airflow DAGs on Amazon MWAA, orchestrated through Amazon EventBridge for real-time scheduling. This system not only eliminated silos and manual overhead but also empowered the client to make faster, data-driven energy investment decisions and improved transparency across distributed assets.
