Overview

TicketManager, a SaaS platform for enterprises ticket and event management, required a significant modernization effort. The project focused on revamping the user interface and transitioning the backend from a limiting monolithic system to a modern, API-driven architecture. The successful transformation enabled greater scalability, seamless integrations, and improved user access through Single Sign-On (SSO).

Challenge

The platform’s legacy monolithic architecture presented several critical limitations. It limited scalability and significantly slowed development cycles, making it difficult to introduce new features quickly. Furthermore, the outdated user interface impacted user engagement and adoption. Moreover, the system faced difficulty in integrating with external ticket providers and internal systems, hindering its ability to offer a comprehensive solution to its enterprise clients

Solution

The platform underwent architectural transformation from monolithic to modular design. A new REST API architecture separated backend and frontend services, enabling independent scaling and faster feature development. The user interface was redesigned to provide an intuitive experience for enterprise users managing event tickets. Our team enabled SSO integration with Microsoft Entra ID to streamline user access and enhance security. Integration capabilities were expanded to connect with major ticket providers including StubHub, Ticketmaster, Tickets.com, and TicketsNow, enabling broader ticket management options for enterprise clients.
