Streamlining Diabetes Care with Cloud Automation

Enabling always-on monitoring, faster clinician response, and more personalized patient care through event-driven cloud automation.

Overview

A leading hybrid healthcare provider needed continuous monitoring and rapid response without runaway infrastructure costs. 10Pearls built a secure, containerized, event-driven platform on AWS that scales with patient demand while improving reliability and speed.

50% reduction
in infrastructure cost

80% reduction
in incident rate

66% reduction
in mean time to repair

Challenge

The client required an infrastructure that could deliver continuous patient monitoring and timely alerts without overloading clinicians or incurring excessive infrastructure costs. The existing system lacked scalability, visibility, and reliable uptime, which limited responsiveness to patient needs and risked data gaps.

Solution

10Pearls implemented a fully cloud-native, event-driven platform that improved monitoring, responsiveness, and care outcomes. Amazon ECS Fargate hosted containerized workloads, while AWS Lambda automated event-driven workflows. Patient data was managed securely with Amazon S3 and Amazon RDS/Aurora, governed by AWS IAM and encrypted with AWS KMS. System observability was ensured through Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail, while Amazon SNS powered real-time alerts. This platform reduced infrastructure costs, improved response times, and enhanced system reliability, enabling clinicians to deliver proactive diabetes care and patients to experience more continuous, personalized treatment.
