10Pearls developed a secure, user-friendly platform that enabled physicians to connect with HIPAA-trained medical interpreters, significantly advancing and streamlining support for patients with language and accessibility barriers. Our solution integrated American Sign Language (ASL) and other accessibility features to ensure effective communication for Limited English Proficiency (LEP), deaf, and visually impaired patients. The solution’s backend services like user authentication, session management, and real-time communication handling were deployed on Heroku.
