10Pearls University Hosting 2nd Annual Women Tech Quest

10Pearls Hosts Women Tech Quest

10Pearls University is excited to announce the second annual Women Tech Quest to be held at our center for continuous learning in Karachi, Pakistan.

The event, open only to female technologists, is scheduled for April 7, 2018, and will include both a hackathon and testing competition. The hackathon will provide an avenue for developers and programmers to test their skills as they complete a development task, while the testing competition allows QA engineers and and software testers to try their hand at testing a specific web or mobile application.

Female coders and testers from around the city are welcome to register, flex their technical abilities, and compete to win cash prizes. Hackathons and testing competition are a great opportunity for software developers and QA specialists to think creatively, test their problem solving speeds, and learn from fellow technologists.

The only requirements are as follows:

  • Participants in the hackathon must be proficient in one of the following languages: C++, C#, Java8, JavaScript (Node.js), Objective-C, PHP, Ruby, or Python.
  • Participants in the testing competition must have a working knowledge of tools such as JMeter and API Automation.

The Women Tech Quest is part of 10Pearls’ overall mission of building a global community of female engineers. In our overseas offices and in the United States, we strive to attract diverse talent and foster a supportive workplace for working parents.
