JIM ANNULIS

VP of Engineering

James (Jim) Annulis currently serves as VP of Engineering of 10Pearls. He has over 22 years of experience working on large-scale Government and commercial projects, with expertise in application software development, digital imaging, healthcare, and biometrics-specifically within the US-VISIT and IDENT systems (owned by DHS). Jim possesses a strong foundation of hands-on technical skills and management experience, which includes planning and managing budgets and resources, assessing and mitigating risks, managing security C&A, leading teams, and expanding customer and business relationships. In 2003, Jim founded ProQual-IT, a biometric identity management and cybersecurity firm which was acquired by 10Pearls in 2017.

Jim has previously served in key roles such as Lead Engineer under the US-VISIT Operations and Maintenance contract, Senior Architect for IDENT modernization activities, and Build Manager for the IDENT/Integrated Automated Fingerprint Identification System (IAFIS) Metrics Server. He has a BS in Engineering Science from Loyola University Maryland, a BS in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, and an MS in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University.
